Tell us about yourselves and where you work:
I'm Julia, and I knew I wanted to be a bartender since I was 17, when my mother poured gin in a lamb roast that she was cooking. I have been doing everything related to bars and restaurants since then.
I'm currently running a speakeasy called Trillby & Chadwick located in the centre of Helsinki. Most of the days I'm trying to cope with a team full of testosterone. [if !supportLineBreakNewLine]
Tell us briefly about the idea behind your Linie cocktail:

To me a journey means more than just a trip somewhere. I wanted to take an experience that shook my world around and create a me-looking cocktail together with Linie.
<Iki>, the name of my drink, represents the palates of Japaneses cuisine and its story relates to dining experiences I had while in Kyoto. The word Iki, comes from a Japanese synonym of having a great time. Just like a journey and a good drink should be. [endif]
